It is my prediction that there is a volcano brewing on the internet and a whole bunch of the next millionaires in this country will come from network marketing online.

You see, about three or four years ago, I lost track, I started studying Mike Dillard and his magnetic sponsoring. I watched him go from a waiter to a self made millionaire.

I realized that If I was going to be successful in network marketing online, I was going to have to study the crap out of the successful people that went before me and duplicate what they did.

Really, that is all it comes down to. Duplication backed by a serious work ethic and a burning desire to succeed.

In my years in the MLM business I have made a noteworthy observation of the masses. People love the income aspect of it, everyone needs what it provides, but very few take it seriously.

Why is it that Network Marketing is sometimes looked down upon by the general public? My opinion is that there are some MLM Cowboys out there, making false claims about their opportunity, over promising and under delivering on their promises.

This business is built on people, trust and relationships. If you are in it strictly for a dollar bill, you will not make it very far.

The Multilevel Marketing industry is a way to not only create money, but to create time as well and the only other way you will accomplish that is in the investing world.

Who has enough money these days to invest in the stock market? The answer is: Not too many. So Business systems and the MLM income world are the only ticket to true freedom in this country.

Up until about 3 months ago, when our economy started taking a downturn for the worst, the general public was not very open to opportunity. But now that peoples retirement portfolio's have been reduced by 45%, you can bet your buns, folks are looking.

Some people cringe at the word recruiting, and personally it's why most people don't make it in the network marketing world unless they become very proficient at it.

My question is why does it scare people away when it's the very key to their financial future.

The challenge is, most people who get involved in the multilevel business are sold into it. Very few people wake up and think to themselves, "hmmm. I would like to create a six figure income over the next five years and I am willing to do whatever it takes.

The fact is people were recruited into business by a friend, family member or stranger.

Let's face it, I don't think Bill Britt or Dexter Yager are teaching their down line how to generate leads with a strong internet marketing campaign and a lead capture page.

So what has happened is there are just a handful of people making serious coin recruiting people into their network marketing business, and the rest are using old school tactics.

I am not knocking old school ways of recruiting, I am just saying, if you don't open your eyes and see what the web brings to the table and learn to utilize a system in which prospects are hunting you down, you're going to get smoked.

Don't worry whether your up line approves or not. I never told mine. Why, because I wanted to prove it worked before I opened my mouth.

Now I have my up lines attention because I kept my mouth shut and did the work which produced results. Only then did I open his eyes to what I had actually done.

The first question was, "Is this duplicatible throughout the organization?" The answer was yes, absolutely.

Prospecting Leads – Four Platinum Rules for Success

I remember how I was when I first got started in business about 5 years back.

I thought people wouldn't get in my business because I had not had any success yet. I had no clue how to prospect the leads I was generating.

Through trial and error I drudged through my business, not understanding duplication, edification or anything of the sort.

My business coach was smart. He never let me self destruct, he guided me as well as let me fail a bunch. He taught me some valuable lessons in business, some of which I don't wish to discuss.

However, he did teach me the Four Platinum rules for success:

1. When Prospecting Leads, always use posture when talking to your leads. You have to have a back bone with people as the moment you lose control and stop asking the questions, they start prospecting you. You want to be confident but not cocky, stern but not stiff. Use some people skills that you have been studying in books like "How to win friends and influence people."
   
2. When Prospecting Leads, use 3^rd party tools like CD's, Your Upline, a three way call with one of the other leaders on your team, a DVD lifestyle video of some of the big dogs in your business, etc. I like to use my upline personally. He is a seven figure earner so I edify him and in return, when I introduce him to my prospect, he puts the edification back on me (powerful).
   
3. Always practice having a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). Keep your energy level high, smile, and don't be afraid to crack a joke once in a while.
   
4. You Should be on a consistent reading program. Folks, leaders are readers and if you ever expect to be one, you have to study them. Some of the best minds of our time have written phenomenal books on their rise to success.
   

The path has been paved, so put down the shovel as you not only have a back hoe, but an earthmover.

The Pucker Factor

Hey Gang,

I know I am about to relate to everyone in the industry here. We all have been there. We have our list of names we have generated and then comes the moment. You lock yourself in a room that's quiet and there is the 1000 lbs of phone just sitting there.

You get hungry at that moment so you decide to get something to eat. You come back to the room, lock the door again and begin to sweat. You didn't think it would be that hard to pick up a phone and call a lead. You pick up the phone and call your best friend and talk for a half hour; All the while, getting further and further from your goal. Your sweating profusely.

See folks, you're not the only ones that went through that as I did too. What do you do to get over the so called "Pucker Factor" of calling someone to either talk to them about your business opportunity or to find out what they are looking for out of life.

Action always overcomes fear. I have this little voice in the back of my head that I have trained and trained well. Whenever I fear doing something, that voice says, "Just Do It". When you do that thing that you are afraid of, three things happen.

1. You overcome the fear of doing whatever was making you pucker.
   
2. You earn your own respect.
   
3. You get closer to your goal of becoming successful

Hey Gang,

Well if "Time is Money" then no, there is no such thing as free MLM leads. A lot of people look for the easy way out when it comes to lead generation for their networking business. The truth is, there is no free ride.

Generating leads takes time and effort. You have to know what your goals is and put a plan of action together to achieve it. You must write it down and meditate on it. When I say meditate, you need to be reading your goal a minimum of three times daily and one of those times should be out loud. Remember, Faith comes by hearing and you aren't hearing much if you are a silent reader.

If you are like me, I didn't want to get into the MLM business and just make a couple of bucks. I came to win. I came in this crazy business because I knew that I could make an impact on the world around me in network marketing. I wasn't making an impact at my J.O.B. I wanted to help others rise out of the passing parade of humanity and to live out their dreams, goals and aspirations.

In order to get what you want out of life, you first must sow that thing that you want. If you want money, you sow money. Microwave Mentality-The “Not so” Wave of the Future

Hey Gang,

I remember as a kid growing up on Maui and coming from a pretty well off family, I usually always got what I wanted. My first ride at 15 years old was a Hot Rod VW Bug. Dropped, Weber Carbs, centerline rims, the whole nine yards. I wanted a new surfboard, I got it.

While it was great then, there was a valuable lesson to be learned later in life. What I had back then was what I see people today in big trouble with. I like to call it microwave mentality. People want their popcorn in 3-1/2 minutes, Their TV Dinner in 4 minutes, fast food, buy it now and we will pay for it later. Give me the big house on the lake, the gas guzzling hummer and put it all on credit.

What it really comes down to is lack of responsibility. You see, the school system doesn't teach its young how to manage money, quite frankly it doesn't teach you how to make it either. Unless you were fortunate enough to come from a family that taught you how to manage your finances, which is rare, you would have to have learned it on your own.

I learned through the school of hard knox. I got into a bind about two years after I got out of college. I had about 5 credit cards, was still in party mode, shop mode, girl mode, vacation mode. I was in the spending mode. It was like free money. What I didn't realize is that I racked up close to 10K in credit card debt over those years. I worked in the hotel business making a decent salary, but still spent more than I had.

It wasn't until ten years later that I dug myself out of the mess. I had microwave mentality bad. If I wanted it, I just bought it. Enough was enough. I was smart enough to realize that I was in a mess. The good news was- I got myself in it, therefore I could get myself out of it. I got rid of the credit cards. If I couldn't pay cash for things, I didn't deserve to have them. As I slimmed down my lifestyle temporarily, I watched my good friends continuing to spend. Boats, cars, houses, etc.

I got into business and started building a future I could be proud of. I started taking whatever extra income I could and put it towards my debt. Today, I am proud to say, I am 8 months away from owning everything except my home, which will be paid off in the next few years. I got out of the "keeping up with the Jones mentality." I started taking responsibility for my family's financial future as well as mine.

In conclusion, your dreams can become a reality if you work on your thought process and figure out what you want most out of life.

The MLM List- Keeping Fuel on the Fire to create an inferno

Hey Gang,

We have all been there at one time or another. We were infants in the mlm business, just getting started, and we thought we already had the people we needed on our list to retire.

You go through the process, hopefully with some guidance, and call your closest friends, family and even people you may have went to grade school with. You may pop in a couple of business owners through this process, however, I know very few people who built a massive mlm organization with their A & B lists.

Your A List- Your Family and Closest friends

Your B List – Everyone else you've met since your birth

Your C List – All the people you don't know yet that will be in someone elses business, unless you call them or they call you.

The truth is, most people who know nothing of Social Networking over the web and attraction marketing will not stay around very long. You need to have a constant flow of leads (people to share your business with) in order to achieve your dreams and goals.

So what do you do once your initial list is gone? Hopefully you have been reading people skills books like Les Giblen's "The Art of Dealing with People." Hopefully you have been plugged in with your upline mentor. Hopefully you have been investing in your business and learning how the pro's like Mike Dillard, Yanik Silver, and many others have created a money creating machine on the internet.

You need a lead generation system. There are many to choose from so choose wisely. Then duplicate successful work patterns. Your mlm list is crutial to your success and you want to keep a steady pipeline of leads in your funnel at all times.

People Don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care

Hey Folks,

I think that our business in Network Marketing should have a name change. It should be called relationships and responsibility.

We are in the people business and most have it backwards. Products don't move people, people move products. With that said, our number one goal as well as biggest responsibility comes in educating people.

As I have mentioned many times before and I hate to be redundant, the learning curve is so great that people will not hang around long enough to see the fruition of their dreams if you don't help them to manifest theirs. It's a give and take business. You don't want to put in more than your people are willing to. Then it's like, your catching their fish and they have no clue how to catch their own. Your downline are like your children. You need to feed them and nurture them until they are reading to stand on their own.

The biggest mistake people make in our business is they make the assumption that everyone thinks like they do and will want to give this thing 110% of their effort. Sure we would all like it to be that way but not likely to happen without going through the masses to find the winners.

The Responsibility comes in as soon as you register a new business owner. His success is not up to you, but you now forfeit the right to quit. You have been handed a gift and it is your responsibility to provide and protect. Provide the tools and mentorship necessary for success in your system and the mentorship necessary to educate that person with the right mindset.

Do these things with your people and you will be well on your way to having a winning team and a winning business.

Why MLM (Network Marketing) income earners are making it through tough times

Hey Gang,

With the economy the way it is and companies laying people off like yesterdays news, there is another part of the economy that is booming. While folks were at work trading time for dollars, people in the MLM industry have been creating a mass of wealth in this country.

Some of the top income earners in the US and Canada are in network marketing and there is a reason why. Once its built properly, it creates the #1 lifestyle in the world, Time + Money. I almost have to laugh at people when they say no to an opportunity with me. I know what I have to offer can change their lives. I just think to myself, "He could have been a millionaire" and move on to the next person.

If you are earning money on only what you can produce in 24 hours, you are very limited as to how much money you can create. However, when you are able to duplicate yourself over and over with a private franchising model, you can create as much or little wealth as you wish. You do the work once, and it produces over and over again. And in times like these, its no wonder that multi level marketing income is being sought after more and more.

People are too skeptical when it comes to being open minded about opportunities. First of all, compared to the money you will spend traveling to and from your job, eating lunch and stopping at the bar after work with your work buddies, you will spend less in your mlm business and create much more.

If you are tired of trading time for dollars and want to start trading time for time and money, you should take a serious look at where you are in life, where you want to go, and if they road you are currently traveling will come even close to getting you there.

If you are out in the trenches 5-6 nights a week. Shaking hands, meeting new friends and adding names to your list so that you have a bunch of people to call on Sunday and set up QI's with, I understand.

I still do those sometimes uncomfortable things. Over the past two years, however, I have watched a bunch of new leaders emerge on the web and have taught me how to pour some major fuel on the fire.

It's Called Magnetic Sponsoring or Attraction Marketing. It's how Millonaires will be made in half the time of the old school MLM'er just out and about getting 21 new names/week on their list of prospects.

With the Internet, you have a captive audience, you just need to learn how to capture their attention. The best way, is you become the expert on online marketing and attracting leads. You become the master and have the ability to help others do the same. Its that simple.

Timing and Numbers in MLM

Hey Gang,

There are two things that will cause you to have success in the MLM Business. People get involved in the Network Marketing business for several reasons, but mostly it's because, initially, they are sold on the idea that they can become wealthy and retire from their jobs at an earlier age. Some people feel a financial pinch and know they need to do something else to supplement their income.

So when you are out there talking with people and they say they are not currently looking, it could be that its not right timing in their lives for a business of their own.

Next is numbers. Network Marketing is a numbers game. For those of you who are serious. For those of you who want to know what it really takes, I will give you two examples of what kind of numbers you will need to go through to achieve high success in this business.

Bill Britt (Amway King)- Has over a million people in his downline world wide. When asked how he achieved his success, he said this:

"There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200
people. 900 said, 'No.' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300,
only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious,
and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire."

Doug Weir (LTD Diamond)- Had 500 names of people to call, Called 300 of them, Showed 100 Plans, Registered 17 legs and he went on to become a millionare.

This is a numbers gang folks. Don't quit when the first 5 people say no. Don't ever quit. As you can see in the above examples, you only need a few people who want to tear the business out of the frame and they are out there.

The question is, do you have the guts to go find them?

Could the FBI find you guilty of being in MLM

Hey Gang,

Most people in the Network Marketing business conscider themselves independant business owners, however I think a lot of them are merely independant hobby owners.

How much time each day, each week, each month are you sowing into your business, your people and into your future?  Do you see money being spent in your business or do you see yourself investing in your business?  These are questions that come to me over and over again and are really just a simple mind block.

Here is an interesting question which will separate the real networkers from the hobby owners real quick.  If the FBI arrested you for being a Network Marketer, would there be enough evidence for them to convict you in a court of law?  If the FBI had been tracking your every move over the last 6 weeks, would there be evidence that would show, without a shadow of a doubt, that you were in the process of building a world changing business?

Pretty good question huh?  Let that one resinate with you for a while and see if it motivates you to do more.  Everyone is capable of doing more every day than they are currently doing.  Its a matter of managing your calendar and prioritizing things in your life.
