Timing and Numbers in MLM

Hey Gang,

There are two things that will cause you to have success in the MLM Business. People get involved in the Network Marketing business for several reasons, but mostly it's because, initially, they are sold on the idea that they can become wealthy and retire from their jobs at an earlier age. Some people feel a financial pinch and know they need to do something else to supplement their income.

So when you are out there talking with people and they say they are not currently looking, it could be that its not right timing in their lives for a business of their own.

Next is numbers. Network Marketing is a numbers game. For those of you who are serious. For those of you who want to know what it really takes, I will give you two examples of what kind of numbers you will need to go through to achieve high success in this business.

Bill Britt (Amway King)- Has over a million people in his downline world wide. When asked how he achieved his success, he said this:

"There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200
people. 900 said, 'No.' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300,
only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious,
and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire."

Doug Weir (LTD Diamond)- Had 500 names of people to call, Called 300 of them, Showed 100 Plans, Registered 17 legs and he went on to become a millionare.

This is a numbers gang folks. Don't quit when the first 5 people say no. Don't ever quit. As you can see in the above examples, you only need a few people who want to tear the business out of the frame and they are out there.

The question is, do you have the guts to go find them?
