It's a beautiful day in Atlanta Georgia. I woke up today thinking about what I could share with you on MLM Recruiting and of course the thoughts began to flow. Recruiting in your network marketing business is the lifeblood of your business. Its what gives you the long term residual income through the duplication of yourself. We will get to that in a little bit.
There are many ways to recruit or sponsor people into your business. Unlike the traditional corporate America recruiter who just brings you through the process of finding and matching the employer with the employee, in multilevel marketing, when you recruit someone, they are your responsibility. Your future does not depend on any one person ,but the more relationships you develop with the people that you recruit, the bigger a business you will have. Build a friendship and you will build a Diamond-ship its that simple.
You see, most people think that they are just trying to "get them one". That is mistake number one. Just because you sponsor someone into your MLM business, does not mean you have a true business owner. Now you have to help them in a few different ways. You must start educating them and getting them plugged into your MLM system. You must sponsor someone for that new business owner. You must help them get their first retail sale. While you are doing all of this, you want them with you, side by side learning how you went about it.
The number one mistake people make is putting people in their business and thinking they have their next direct distributer, WRONG! You need to develop trust in network marketing and you do that by serving people.
How do you recruit in MLM?
- You start with a list of the sharpest people they know, then make a list of all of the rest of the people they have ever known.
- You call those people and ask them if they are looking to create some extra income. This is a filter process folks. You are not trying to talk them into your business, you are looking for lookers.
- For those who said yes, you interview them, yes interview. Its your business and your putting together your board of directors for your multi-million dollar company so be smart about it.
- You get them to meet your team and your mentor. Promote the man, not the plan.
- Once you get some people started after going through the entire list you now need to have a lead generation system to work your cold market.
- You need to get educated by reading books, seminars, listening to CD's of the superstars in your business. Invest in you and your MLM and you will have a team and income in no time.
